MMP01 version 2 - The debugged PIC development board with capability of being used to investigate and develop applications using Bluetooth, GPS, SD-Cards, 433MHz, Synthesised Voice, RS232, USB, with a nice big graphics display (or an alternative small one), In-Circuit programming, provision for analogue inputs, the list just goes on.... This board was developed in conjunction with LJConcepts Ltd (see their examples page). The target price is in the region of £250 for the basic board, which includes USB, ICSP, RS232 and SD-card socket. Software should be available from LJConcepts Ltd.
ICBM01 - so called not because you'll be firing it at other continents, it stands for Innovative Communications Bluetooth Module 1 - this will plug into the 433MHz module socket on the MMP01 version 2, allowing the user to set up a datacomms link to Bluetooth devices. It is an alternative to using the RF Solutions Linkmatik2.0 and should be cheaper (it certainly is cheaper than the original, priced at some £60 plus, but they have already put out a surface-mount version at just under £40 at time of writing this - so if we can't significantly beat that price then we won't release it, although we may incorporate the circuit into other products).
MMP03 - a handheld development system to which I intend to keep adding applications boards. Currently planned applications include a cheap Network Analyser (with special thanks to David Jewsbury who handed a prototype of this design over to us), a radio receiver, and a DSP version of the processor board that is aimed at investigating software defined radio - or at least initially allowing a receiver in which the post-IF circuitry is taken into the Z-domain.....
